HTC is a major manufacturer of electronics and mobile phones, they are based in Taiwan and often cater to both the Asian and European markets with the US getting last release dates. Their latest offering is the Touch 2, a Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional smart phone with amazing features and a reinvented HTC Sense interface that makes full use of the OS platform. The combination is strong and stable providing an enjoyable mobile experience. As you would expect from HTC, the hardware is a combination of wisely selected parts that are maximized to the fullest by the 3G smart phone. If you have had the pleasure of using an earlier HTC device, then the Sense interface would be a familiar sight to see.

HTC and Windows

HTC announced their Windows Mobile 6.5 phones early and have taken an early lead against their main competitor, the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2; also a Windows Mobile phone. These two devices however do not exactly clash in terms of hardware as the X2 showcases higher end specifications as compared to the Touch 2. Instead, the Touch 2 provides a more sensible balance between the price and features allowing it to be sold at better prices.

You get Pocket Office, Internet Explorer Mobile, Windows Media Player version 10 and plenty of other Windows applications.
